They have more than one email server, so usually there is only a problem with one of the servers and it is only the people whose emails are on that server who are affected.

Hi Kiterunner - they did say in one of their apologetic emails that several of their servers were experiencing problems.

The worrying thing is that after a long time of complete reliability, everything seems to be falling apart at Virgin, and simply connecting to the internet is a bit dicey now.

Oh well, after all the problems I have experienced in the past when trying to change providers, I will have to stick with them now!!!!
