These are my husband's grandparents Frederick Cecil Bouverie and Grace Alice Lodge who were married on 8th September 1914 in St. Stephen's Church, Bareilly, India. The photo was taken whilst on their honeymoon. Frederick had been in India since 1908, initially with the Essex Regiment, 1st Batallion Burma Division, and later transferring to the Indian Army.




These are my grandparents Harry Edward Rumble, born 6th September 1878, and Phoebe Nettie Dettmer, born 21 November 1880. They were married in St. Luke's Church, Deptford on 21st May 1899. Sadly my grandfather died before I was born and my grandmother died when I was aged 4, so I have no memories of them.
