Ken Potter is my father. His mother was Mary Ann Cockell who was known as Kate by her family and Alf Potter was his father. One of Kate's brothers was also a Cockell - the three others had the name Bolster, which was the name of their father and Kate's stepfather. My father was born in 1940 and his father (Alf Potter) was the 21st child out of 21 - so perhaps Paula is related to one of those Potters - if that is the case she wouldnt be a blood relative of Don Cockell, as Alf Potter was his stepfather. Dad thinks Latchmere rings a bell - he believes there was a Latchmere pub and also a Latchmere estate. Sadly Beryl passed away a couple of years ago. I hope this info is of interest to somebody.
