The New York Historical Society at 170 Central Park West, NY, has a large number of documents that I'm interested in, but they can only copy and post a very limited number of pages; the only way of getting the rest is for someone to go in person and takes photos with a digital camera.

Do we have anyone living locally who would be willing to do that?

I should be happy to pay their expenses, obviously.

No point, really, because the documents are only available from the NYHS, and they won't send copies. Thanks for the suggestion, though :)

thats a shame Mary... I wasn't sure if there were anyone that would be able to do the request for you on the NY page.
