This is the reference for ordering the marriage certificate from the General Register Office, cost 9.25 pounds

      Arthur E Clark/Kate Bryer
      Apr-May-Jun 1923
      Bristol, volume 6a, page 35.

As Wendy says, the marriage certificate will give the name of his father, as well as his occupation, which should make it easier to find them on the 1911 and possibly earlier censuses.

Not sure what source his birth place is from but this appears to be a birth registration match, ordering the cert will give details of his parents.

        Birth
        March 1903

Do you have his death cert or know his date & place of death?

Check the cemeteries in the area he lived, it's possible he was cremated so I would check the crem records too.

Check in the local newspaper for the area where he lived for a death annoucement which would give details of the date & place etc.
