  • Parish Church, Upper Chelsea, Middlesex

I have just sent away for my 3 x Great Grandfather's marriage certificate and it states that he was married in the Parish Church of Upper Chelsea, Middlesex in 1841. Would anyone know which church that would be. Any thoughts would be appreciated !!

I'd have thought that that would have been amongst the LMA records on Ancestry. Although I guess Chelsea is a bit West-End-ish, where the LMA records are more City-ish.

I think the info you want is probably here: http://homepages.gold.ac.uk/genuki/M...a/churches.htm
Sorry - reading that page, all the parishes registers seem to have been lodged with LMA.

      From GENUKI

Holy Trinity, Sloane Street, Upper Chelsea - with St Jude; [chapel of ease, 1832, separate parish 1884] still open.
see HOLY TRINITY, CHELSEA, SLOANE STREET, KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA for registers at LMA

the other church in Upper Chelsea had not been built at that time.

      so you might find the
      Mike in Droitwich
