Yes, please. Thank you very much

Please would you look for James and Caroline Lord, and for Philip and Annie Lord. They would be in Sydney. Philip and Annie married in 1888.

Caroline travelled to Sydney in 1885 - age 34, on the Chimborazo that arrived 5 July 1885, with two-year-old Charles Lord, listed under "married women joining their husbands". Her 17-year-old son Philip was on the same ship. James had travelled on the Gulf of Carpentaria of Greenock from London to Sydney that arrived 4 August 1884.

Caroline died in 1939, and James in 1931; they are buried in the Woronora Cemetery.

Ok Joy - here goes. NSW electoral rolls only start in 1930

        1930 -

Phillip Lord Jr, School Hill Minmi, shearer

1936 and 1937, Caroline and Phillip Sr same as in 1933. Will check again for Phillip Jr, can't see him yet.

        1943
        Phillip Sr in Bellevue St
        Phillip Jr in School Hill
Phillip John, School Hill, Minmi, miner

        1949

        Phillip John, School Hill, labourer
        Harry Lord, School Hill, labourer

        1954
Phillip Lord, Minmi, Labourer (no street name mentioned)
        Harry Lord, School Hill, labourer
Phillip John, 29 Cowper Street, Wallsend, miner
Shirley elizabeth Agnes Lord, 29 Cowper St, Wallsend, Home duties.

No sign of Annie anywhere - will see if I can find anything on the death/ births lists.

        Hope this helps
