I've been having a look Val, but can't see them at this stage.
Putting in Annie instead of just Ann brought up quite a few more, but I couldn't find any 'printers' among the Wiliam Browns.

Do you know if they had any children?
Do you think they may have emigrated.....have you tried that angle?

I see she knocked a couple of years off her age when she got married ;)
William wasn't living at 4 Rotherfield street with them in 1881, so he must have moved in shortly before marriage. Do you think the sister transcribed as Reedin Keen in 1881 is the Mary Ann Keen witness?

hi Val cannot find them emigrating and not found any children as yet ???
Rod yes sometimes Wallis has been transcribed as Wallace .

I think I've got this sussed Val. Ann's mother was married twice - first to a Keen and then in Sept 1850 Elizabeth Keen married William Leonard Wallis in Shoreditch ref 2 423. So those Keen girls are Ann's half sisters.

That's ok Val, it was my fault, you did say can anyone find them after :o
I looked for her first in 1881 just to see what it gave for her age and birth etc first, then I went off at a tangent :D

Do you know how old you had to be to marry without consent in 1882 Val?
The reason I ask is because in 1881 there is a William H Brown aged 18, a printer born in Devon and living in Islington with his family. His father is William B Brown, a joiner born in Devon. I just wondered if he had given his address as the same as Ann's for the Banns, so that he didn't get caught out and left his second initial off.
I'm clutching at straws here aren't I :D Just because he's a printer when nothing else fits:D

I think I might have found that one married to someone else in 1891. Got to go now - sorry.

now thats interesting will certainly look at it , I think the reason both give the same address is something to do with the calling of the Banns ????
This is interesting about the age of consent

I'm not sure it's him in 1891 Val. It's worth taking a look as I am rushing and haven't investigated a possible marraige for the one I found etc.
