William McCaig married Jean McKerrow 1869 New Cumnock Ayr. I would like the McKerrow parents names.

you should be able to find the marriage on scotlands people. that will give both parents names.

yes I will look next time I buy credits but as its not my direct line and just a branch I wasnt going to spend another £6 just for that. I gather a list of stuff I need to view on there before paying out.
I just though if anybody was going they could take a quick look as I have the correct year.

I hope I'm not intruding, but I found a birth for Jane McKerrow 5th May 1849 New Cumnock. Father: William McKerrow, Mother: Barbara Craig.
William McKerrow & Barbara Craig married 1837 Old Cumnock.
I'm sure you are aware that sometimes it's Jean & sometimes Jane.
Barbara Craig was christened 1/3/1816 New Cumnock.
Father: John Craig
Mother: Margaret Spence.

William McKerrow was born 1814 Cumnock
Father: William McKerrow
Mother: Isabella Hair

William McKerrow b. 1814 & Barbara Craig had the following children:
ISABELLA MCKERROW 1838
MARGARET SPENCE MCKERROW 1840
JOHN CRAIG MCKERROW 1842
WILLIAM RONALD MCKERROW 1844
JAMES CRAIG MCKERROW 1845

I just wondered if any of these names tie in with your previous research.

Thank you Katherine. I have only just seen this. I do already have most of the McKerrow family connected but I didnt have the middle name for William Ronald McKerrow so that is a help to me
