Scrambled letters

Whenever I write, my letters are all scrambling...or spaces isappearing etc....


Have left in the problems on his thread so you can see what mean! Itd

I will write one thing, and as I am writing, one or more of my letters just to after the cursor !

I have had to amend this one post 4 times to make it make sense!

Could it be that some of the keys on your keyboard are sticking? Maybe it needs a clean?

Or maybe the keyboard has developed a fault. Has been known to happen. Do you have another one to try swapping it with?

Mandy, I wonder if you have caught the 'insert' key? This means that when you move your cursor mid-word and type a letter, instead of the letter inserting itsself between others it OVERTYPES and the original ones will disappear.

If you are in Word you will see a little box at the bottom of the screen somewhere with OVR in it. If you hit the insert key you will see OVR change from black to grey each time. It needs to be grey, otherwise you will be overtyping.

The insert key is located top left of the block of six, to the right of the backspace key.

Yes itll be on the overtype thingy, Ive had that occasionally and for some reason it wont click off - so I just restart the puter.

It did get sorted eventually yes...did a restart!!!
