Babs, I don't have Vista, but on XP & on win98 to turn things off on the start menu you go Start > Run and type in MSConfig. I am assuming it will be the same with Vista.

Hi yah,
Whose your new Service Provider ? did they not provide you with
a list of email settings ?
Clare
Morning Clare its Utility warehouse and all they sent was book with the router and another with the modem, been on there site and you can send e-mail hehe (carnt) or phone them if any problems , so looks like I will have to do that ;;
I have set up new e-mail accounts easy enough but always though there was a place you could look on your computer to find out your server addys and addys for e-mail, thats what I was looking for ???
I found the following :-
ISP Name
The Utility Warehouse
Country
UK
POP3 Server
(Incoming Mail Server)
pop3.go-plus.net
SMTP Server
(Outgoing Mail Server)
smtp.go-plus.net
News Server
newsgroups.go-plus.net
Found the information on the website :-
AnswersThatWork's famous ISP List - TheUtilityWarehouse Incoming Mail POP3 server and Outgoing Mail SMTP server, and DNS settings (http://www.answersthatwork.com/ISP_pages/isp_theutilitywarehouse.htm)

I am a computer geek who used to work on an ISP helpdesk :)
I know smtp.go-plus.net is working ok as I can connect to it.
Do you collect mail from another ISP using Outook ?
Can you do a screenshot of your mail settings in Outlook and paste
them here ?
Clare
Thanks Clare, screenshot oh dear have forgot how to do them , (age thing I think )
but something I did yesterday with your setting seems to be working, as after been off line all last night and this morning through some power surge or something, I have had e-mail in incredimal from both addys , so once again thank you very much ,,,,it seems to have worked ...
That's brilliant :)
